ICANN Approves Internationalized Domain Names – Martin Schwimmer
New York attorney Martin Schwimmer, former vice president of ICANN’s Intellectual Property Constituency, discusses with CNN International the organization’s approval of internationalized domain names (IDNs). On October 30, 2009, ICANN approved the use of non-Latin characters in country code top level domains (ccTLDs).
