My Primerica Jobs Observation From Afar
I was looking through the classifieds for a part time job, and found something called Primerica. The ad said “Primerica jobs”. Since I was in a situation that called for adaptable hrs and simply, a way to make a little money on the side. To my amazement, it was simply a economic type thing, where the product did not seem to matter. Primerica jobs was about recruiting people into an opportunity.
I have run into Primerica jobs in my lifetime and never found that it was something for me. They have a respectable company and opportunity for the right person.
Dave and Terry Francis have a nice story to go by in the opportunity. Their story is one of 2 professionals coming together from different backgrounds and working together to become financially free in America.
Their family is also getting started in the business, which is natural.
I was puzzled for a while as to what Primerica jobs in reality is and what services they offer. Is it network marketing?
Their major products are insurance and economic consulting. This is positively a two sided business style that incorporates the recruiting side and the sales side of things. For some reason their business model eludes officially being considered an MLM. They are not listed as such. You can just focus on advertising the services they offer, but the goal, or reason why most people get started in the business is for that independence to not have to hold a 40+ hour per week job.
It is a unique market that Dave & Terry have started about 20 years ago. There is for sure a need for insurance and financial consulting.
I do believe there are other growing field and ways of marketing that are definitely more ground breaking that the model that Dave & Terry entered 20 years ago. They will tell you there is a lot to benefit from in today’s marketplace, but I will tell you, coming from my familiarity and education that there are just better options out there for most people.
Most people are not great salesperson, not great motivators or leaders of people, and have any power over the masses, or are good at sales and closing. Dave & Terry Francis came from that setting beforehand. Those skills can indeed be learned and developed over time, but the growth curve for most people honestly will not be able to retain most people in the business.
I personally don’t believe that in this economy, this particular industry of insurance and financial consulting is a good fit for growth at this time. Once the economy conditions take a turn for the better they will be better off.
I have looked at and studied business models and products in marketing for 4 years of my life after leaving the manufacturing industry and creating that kind of success talked about, that is easily produced and effectively retained by the right person who is serious and focused on what they need to accomplish in their lifetime.
Its about the market and the marketing to start. Gaining the skills and training needed to survive in your own direct selling or MLM business, more exactly than being concerned about marketing Primerica jobs in the newspaper, will go a long way in any opportunity you choose to work with. You can set yourself free by your brand, not based on any one business opportunity, even if there are very good ones out there.
